About the festival

The 6th Jeju Environmental Education Festival in 2026 is a comprehensive environmental education event hosted by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and organized by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Environmental Education Center. The event will take place around Jeju Venture Maru, Jeju Economic and Trade Promotion Agency, and Suun Neighborhood Park from October 30 to October 31, 2026. A special lecture is scheduled for October 30, followed on October 31 by a distinguished speaker lecture and the Jeju Environmental Education Learning Center. The event is free and open to Jeju residents and anyone interested in environmental education. Major programs include the Jeju Environmental Education Learning Center, hands-on booths on a variety of themes, an exhibition area, and a pledge-to-act photo zone. The event is hosted by Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and organized by its Environmental Education Center, with joint planning and operation by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education and 22 member organizations of the Jeju Environmental Education Network. It aims to promote environmental education in the region and foster environmental awareness among residents. Through a variety of hands-on activities and programs, it provides a forum for sharing the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable practices in everyday life.
