About the festival
The Yeouido Spring Flower Festival in Yeongdeungpo, which has been held since 2005, is a representative spring festival of Seoul that takes place every April along the cherry blossom road and the Han River Park. When the warm spring energy is felt each year, approximately 1,886 cherry trees and 13 types of spring flowers, including azaleas and forsythias, bloom beautifully, coloring Yeouido vibrantly. During the Spring Flower Festival, various programs and spaces are set up along the cherry blossom road. Colorful street arts such as circus performances and street theater unfold along the spring flower garden, and photo zones are created throughout the area for visitors to capture memories against the spring scenery. The Spring Flower Stage hosts various programs including stage performances, DJing, and film screenings, while the Art Cube showcases works by local artists from Yeongdeungpo. Additionally, food and beverage booths feature not only local favorites from Yeongdeungpo but also various popular eateries from across the country.
