About the festival
The 22nd Soesokkak Festival, held from September 19 to 20 in the Soesokkak area, known for its natural beauty, is a representative festival of Hyodon-dong, showcasing the beautiful nature of Soesokkak and the culture of the region.·It aims to promote tourism resources and create a space for local residents and tourists to come together. This festival will feature various performance programs, including a youth festival, Soesokkak music festival, and Soesokkak song contest, as well as diverse experiential programs such as making Moru dolls, popping balloons, and throwing baseballs. Additionally, on-site participation programs like treasure hunting at Hahyo Port, women's arm wrestling competition, and limbo will be available, along with various attractions such as an outdoor swimming pool, yellow clay road experience, and 'Stories of Hyodon-dong through Photos,' providing unique enjoyment for family visitors and tourists. On the first day of the festival, September 19, there will be an opening ceremony, a congratulatory performance by invited singer Moon Hee-kyung, and fireworks, while on the second day, September 20, the Soesokkak song contest and a congratulatory performance by invited singer Cleo, along with a prize draw and closing ceremony, will enhance the joy of the festival.
