How to dispose of it
- Remove only batteries designed for safe user removal; do not force an embedded battery out of a device.
- Check the accepted items at a used-battery bin or a battery collection point identified by your municipality.
- Use the designated route instead of mixing batteries or power banks into general-waste bags or ordinary plastic and can recycling.
Before you put it out
- A power bank is not merely a plastic case. Confirm that the collection point accepts that form of rechargeable battery.
- For a swollen or damaged battery, tell the collection operator about its condition and obtain handling instructions before depositing it.
