How to dispose of it
- Remove food and grease, then check whether the body is metal.
- Separate removable plastic or wooden handles and lid parts made from different materials.
- Use the local scrap-metal collection for the metal body. Check first if the item is too large for the collection provided.
Before you put it out
- A glass lid is not scrap metal, and heat-resistant glass should be distinguished from bottle-glass recycling.
- An electric kettle with electrical components is different from an ordinary metal kettle; check the small-appliance collection route.
