Festival haqida
Ichen Ginseng Festival, which started in 2015 to widely promote the premium ginseng grown in Ichen, the largest ginseng producing area in the country, has changed its name to Ichen Ginseng Health Festival from 2025, aiming to become the best ginseng health festival in the metropolitan area by incorporating the theme of health with ginseng. The Ichen Ginseng Health Festival is a special festival where visitors can enjoy not only ginseng but also health in the autumn atmosphere, providing a budget shopping opportunity to see and purchase the deep and rich aroma and excellent quality of Ichen ginseng. Additionally, it offers participatory content for visitors in the form of health experiences and play experiences using ginseng, such as ginseng tasting, ginseng health kimchi experience, and ginseng foot bath, where people of all ages can see, enjoy, and take care of their health with ginseng. The festival is further enhanced by various stage performances by invited singers and events such as ginseng auctions with visitors, making it one of the representative festivals of Ichen where healthy foods made with fresh ginseng, such as ginseng fried and ginseng makgeolli, can be tasted.
