About the festival

Changnyeong Namji Eup Canola Fields is the largest single area in the country at 110 hectares (approximately 330,000 pyeong), harmonizing with the beautiful scenery of the Nakdong River, reminiscent of a landscape painting, making it a representative spring tourist destination. The Changnyeong Nakdong River Canola Festival, which began its first event in 2006, has established itself as a major festival in Changnyeong County, promoting the beauty of canola flowers and bringing together tourists and locals. During the festival period, a variety of programs are offered, including an opening ceremony performance, local cultural performances, canola flower rallying, exhibitions, and experiential events, providing visitors with abundant sights and activities. In particular, the vast canola flower fields and the Nakdong River create a healing space where many tourists can enjoy the essence of spring.
