About the festival
The Yuseong Hot Spring Cultural Festival is an event that inherits and develops the values of Yuseong Hot Spring and the scientific city of Yuseong in a modern sense. This festival, which started with 'hot springs' as its core theme, is based on the origin and efficacy of Yuseong Hot Spring. It features various programs that combine science and hot springs to widely promote the regional identity of being a city of science. The Yuseong Hot Spring Cultural Festival holds great significance as it is a purely community-participatory and community-led event. Local residents actively participate in the planning and overall operation of the festival, and many programs and experience booths are structured around voluntary participation and leadership by the residents.
