About the festival
The 23rd Seosanhaemi-eupseong Festival is a historical and cultural festival held from October 9 to October 11, 2026, in the area of Seosan Haemi-eupseong. This year's festival, themed 'HAEMI UNIVERSE: 1421, The Door of Time Opens', showcases the space and stories of Haemi-eupseong, which has a 600-year history, through various performances and experiences. Major events include the Taejongdae-King's military parade, the Daedong Fortress procession, themed performances, a drone lighting show, Black Eagles celebratory flight, and Haemi the Classic. Additionally, there are experiential programs where visitors can participate directly, including RPG Haemi Return, traditional clothing, horseback riding, archery, and calligraphy. Furthermore, media facades and nighttime landscape content will be displayed throughout Haemi-eupseong, along with programs linked to local culture, such as performances by local artists and traditional weddings.
