About the festival
The 20th 'Samgyeongpo Squid Festival' in 2026 will be held at the beautiful port of Samgyeongpo in Suwon as a summer festival. Representative experience activities include a poisoning experience on the sea, float fishing, releasing juvenile fish from boats, and hand-catching eels at the water park, suitable for visitors of all ages from children to adults. In addition, fresh squid sashimi provided by the festival promotion committee can be tasted for free, along with various squid dishes such as spicy soup available for selection. On the main stage, performances in various fields including songs and shows can be enjoyed, making it a representative summer festival of Suwon, rich in viewing, entertainment, and cuisine.
