About the festival

The 2026 Miryang National Heritage Night Festival is a nighttime cultural heritage festival held around Yeongnamru, harmonizing with the cliffs of the Miryang River. The festival is themed 'Connecting Miryang River, Citizens, and Heritage' and consists of eight programs: night view, night road, night history, night flowers, night food, night market, night stories, and night lodging. The festival features performances themed around Eungcheon Arirang and a flower fireworks display against the backdrop of Yeongnamru. Additionally, it includes the Miryang Arirang Traditional Market, a local artists' art market, and a citizens' gathering to promote the revitalization of the local economy. The aim is to expand community participation through citizen engagement programs and provide opportunities for cultural enjoyment.
