About the festival
The 2026 National Heritage Media Art Buyeo Jeongnimsa Site is a nighttime media art event themed around Sabibak Temple, the knowledge, technology, and national heritage of the time that led to the cultural development of the Sabibak Baekje. The event will take place from September 7 to September 27, 2026, for 21 days at the Buyeo Jeongnimsa Site, operating daily from 7 PM to 10 PM. The event features various media content including video projections, laser art, lighting design, large screen exhibitions, audience participation content, AI-based experiences, and moving sculptural art, showcasing works based on historical and cultural elements of Sabibak Baekje such as the Baekje gilt-bronze incense burner, Yeonhwa Gate roof tile, and Baekje's astronomy and crafts, with both viewing content and hands-on experiential content available.
