About the festival
The 2026 Daejeon Bread Festival is a representative regional coexistence bread festival of South Korea where excellent local bakeries and alley businesses in Daejeon come together to smile. From nationally recognized brands like Seongsim-Hall to skilled neighborhood bakeries hidden in every corner of the community, a total of 120 local small businesses participate as proud protagonists of the festival. At the festival site, beyond the joy of tasting a variety of freshly baked fragrant breads, it serves as a valuable platform to widely promote the outstanding flavors and philosophies of unique local bakeries. Going beyond a simple consumer event, it leads to increased sales for small businesses and revitalization of the downtown area, injecting warm vitality and energy into the local economy as a whole. It is establishing itself as Daejeon's unique and enjoyable coexistence festival where citizens, small business owners, and tourists all happily come together through bread.
