About the festival
The 7th Yesan Hwangsae Festival is a meaningful ecological festival that embodies the warm efforts of Hwangsae Village to create a stable habitat for the restored storks and to earnestly support their survival in the wild. Recently, the natural ecosystem has been threatened due to rapid climate change, adding many difficulties for storks to live in nature. However, for these beautiful birds that return to Hwangsae Village with their strong homing instinct, we are diligently cultivating an eco-friendly habitat where storks and humans can coexist. This festival will vividly convey the village's dedication and message of ecological conservation through a variety of planned experiential programs and exhibitions. It is expected to be a special time to feel the value of nature and share the wonders of life in the clean Yesan Hwangsae Village, where we live alongside storks.
