About the festival
The Hongseong Global Barbecue Festival is a representative gourmet festival of South Korea where visitors can taste and enjoy various barbecue dishes centered around Hongseong's specialty products, Hongseong Hanwoo beef and Korean pork. By combining Hongseong's excellent livestock resources with barbecue content, it showcases differentiated food and attractions, as well as experiential programs. In particular, through diverse food content such as theme park barbecue, global barbecue, and fireplace barbecue, it promotes the taste and charm of Hongseong to domestic and international visitors. Additionally, by producing and utilizing large barbecue grills, it provides spectacular attractions, evolving from a simple food festival into a tourism-oriented festival that satisfies all five senses. The festival will present a special venue where visitors can experience the taste and culture of Hongseong through barbecue made with high-quality Hanwoo beef, Korean pork, and local specialties, making it a sacred place for barbecue.
