About the festival
Craft Week is a craft event initiated by the Korea Craft and Design Promotion Agency to share and promote the joy of crafts. The domestic craft festival, Craft Week 2026, organized by the Korea Craft and Design Promotion Agency, will be held for ten days from June 19 to 28 across various locations nationwide. First started in 2018, this year marks the ninth Craft Week, which conveys the experience of crafts naturally permeating our daily lives, regions, and time. This year, Buyeo-gun in Chungcheongnam-do has been selected as the hub city for Craft Week, and craft programs featuring unique resources and stories from various regions will continue in five areas: Sejong-Gongju, Jeonju-Gochang, Chilgok-Gumi, Ulsan-Busan, and Jeju-Seogwipo. Crafts are a culture that connects the landscape of the region, the senses of daily life, and the relationships between people, beyond the objects born from the fingertips. During Craft Week 2026, visitors can experience the time and warmth conveyed by crafts through various craft programs such as exhibitions, experiences, markets, and tours, and encounter moments where crafts reside in everyday life.
