About the festival
The Jinju Fortress of national heritage media art is a historical site of Jinju Fortress.·This is a plan to allow people to experience cultural values through media art and nighttime content as part of a national heritage activation activity. The event is held around Jinju Fortress, representing the history of national defense, the Jinju victory, General Kim Si-min, and Jinju's traditional culture.·Using modern media technologies such as images, lighting, and sound to express intangible heritage. Utilizing the main spaces and cultural heritage of Jinju Fortress, such as Gongbuk Gate, Chokseok Gate, Chokseok Pavilion, and Yeongnam Provincial Office, to construct media facades, image content, light and sound performances, audience participation content, etc., reflecting the historical characteristics and locality of each space, and providing a modern interpretation of Jinju Fortress's cultural heritage. In this way, opportunities for enjoying nighttime cultural heritage that combines historical spaces and media content are provided, aiming to promote the historical significance and cultural value of Jinju Fortress.
