About the festival
The Sancheong Agricultural Specialties Festival is an event where you can meet the finest agricultural products of South Korea, nurtured by the clear waters, clean air, and fertile soil of the Jirisan foothills. Farmers from Sancheong, known as the 'home of medicinal herbs' and 'center of healing', gather the best fruits of their labor throughout the year to create a space for producers and consumers to meet directly and share healthy food. Fresh agricultural specialties infused with the essence of Jirisan, such as honey, strawberries, medicinal herbs, wild greens, and black pork, are available along with various experience programs and performances. The Sancheong Agricultural Specialties Festival is a local festival that goes beyond a simple sales event, allowing visitors to enjoy the generous spirit of Sancheong and the beautiful natural scenery of Donguibogam Village, satisfying all five senses.
