About the festival
The 2026 Chungcheongnam-do Drone Festa is a comprehensive drone event showcasing the national drone competition, drone conference, drone light show, and exhibition and experience programs all in one place. The national drone competition is a nationwide event where participants compete in precision control mission challenges and exploration mission challenges, testing their piloting skills and mission execution capabilities, allowing all citizens to participate as competitors in the drone contest. The drone conference serves as a platform for experts from academia, industry, and government to share and discuss the development direction of the drone industry and regional drone utilization strategies. The drone light show is a large-scale performance utilizing over 1,200 drones, representing the vision of Chungnam's provincial administration and conveying key policy messages through dynamic content. Additionally, the drone exhibition and experience program introduces various drone models and the latest technologies, offering hands-on piloting experiences and participatory programs, providing visitors with the opportunity to directly experience drones and become more familiar with the future drone industry.
