About the festival
The 2026 Jung-gu Book Festival opens the second chapter based on the various reading cultures and presences discovered in the 2025 festival, connecting those presences and expanding relationships within the city. The second chapter, "Seoroui Yeongyeol," is a festival that reads Jung-gu, where stories have accumulated over a long time, like a single book, following the time stacked in alleys, the memories left in the old city, the lives of people, and the emotions held by the region, discovering and connecting the stories that already exist within Jung-gu anew. This festival creates a space that connects people and people, places and memories, cities and reading cultures through books, and is composed of a time to share the depth of stories that Jung-gu holds and the possibilities of reading culture.
