About the festival
Hongju-eupseong is the center of Hongju-mok during the Joseon Dynasty and a representative national heritage of Hongseong, holding the history of the Battle of Hongju and the Hongju Uprising. At night, it offers a beautiful night view that presents a different special charm from the day. The 2026 Hongseong National Heritage Night Tour 'Bimileul Pumeun Hongju-eupseong!' is a festival utilizing national heritage held at Hongju-eupseong, where the history of Hongju-eupseong and the value of national heritage can be newly experienced through various programs such as performances, experiences, exhibitions, and media content. In particular, the special lighting and night view arrangements that can only be encountered during the night tour provide another charm of Hongju-eupseong, allowing people of all ages to easily and enjoyably experience the history and culture of Hongju-eupseong through diverse content including historical experiential performances, national heritage experiences, and local delicacies.
