About the festival
The Korea Grand Festival is the first nationwide consumer festival to bring together discount events and consumption-boosting initiatives, including vouchers and coupons, that were previously scattered across various government ministries, such as Korea Sale Festa (Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy), the Accommodation Sale Festa (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), the Companion Festival (Ministry of SMEs and Startups), agricultural and livestock product discount events (Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs), seafood discount events (Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries), Korea Post Shopping promotions (Ministry of Science and ICT), and the Korea Duty Free Festa (Korea Customs Service). Government ministries, local governments, the retail industry, traditional markets, small and medium-sized enterprises, and small business owners are joining forces to offer a variety of discounts, consumer benefits, travel experiences, and cultural content across the country. From shopping and local cuisine to traditional markets, regional tourism, and travel, visitors can enjoy a wide range of activities all in one place, experience distinctive local offerings, and enjoy a special trip.
