About the festival
*The food content for the Hagi Festival is based on the previous year's (2025) festival details, and the 2026 festival details are currently being updated.* The Geumsan World Ginseng Festival, held in Geumsan, Chungcheongnam-do, the home of ginseng with over 1,500 years of history, offers a variety of experiences and attractions enjoyed by all ages, including ginseng digging experiences, red ginseng pack massages, red ginseng foot baths, an international ginseng trade fair, and traditional ginseng cultural experiences, enhancing tourist satisfaction with affordable shopping. Since its inception in 1981, the Geumsan World Ginseng Festival has been recognized as one of the top 10 festivals in the country by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and has received accolades such as being selected as an Asian specialty festival by the IFEA World in 2024, establishing itself as a representative industrial festival of Korea and evolving into a global festival enjoyed by people from around the world.
