About the festival
The Nonsan Strawberry Festival is a representative specialty festival of South Korea held annually in Nonsan City, Chungcheongnam-do. Nonsan is a national strawberry production area with a stable production base and distribution system, and the festival operates as an industrial-type festival linked to agriculture, processing, and tourism. The festival consists of strawberry sales and tastings, experience programs, performances and exhibitions, and industrial exchange programs, and is organized with direct participation from local farmers and small businesses. Additionally, it has been designated as a cultural tourism festival by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for 2026-2027 and is enhancing its international scalability and industrial connectivity ahead of the 2027 Nonsan World Strawberry Industry Expo.
