About the festival
This 23rd Yesan Apple Festival is set to take place alongside the spectacular Yedanghochulreongda-ri, which boasts the largest scale in the country, featuring a variety of apple experience programs that anyone can enjoy, regardless of age. By utilizing the local tourist resource known as 'Yedanghochulreongda-ri' and designating it as this year's venue, the festival aims to promote both Yesan apples and the region's landmarks, starting with the symbolic Yedang-Lake Observatory and connecting with the tourism facilities in the Yedang-Lake area during the festival period. The festival will showcase the taste and excellence of Yesan apples through apple wine, apple desserts, and a collaboration of jazz, traditional Korean music, and classical music, under the theme 'A Sweet Day at Yedang-Lake.' Among the programs, the 'Yesan Apple Sale Festa' will feature participation from Yesan apple farmers and will be operated by the Yesan Apple Horticultural Cooperative, taking place for just two days during the festival period, offering high-quality Yesan apples at affordable prices as a representative program.
