The Daejeon Hyomun Ppuri Festival is a representative festival of Daejeon Jung-gu, centered around 'roots', reflecting on the importance of my origins, family, generations, and traditions. It is a festival where one can learn about the origins of surnames, the history of clans, and the footprints of ancestors, while naturally encountering my roots through various traditional cultures and experiential programs. It offers a special time to reflect on the meaning of family and the value of filial piety, as generations come together without being confined to past traditions. Additionally, centered around Ppuri Park and the festival venue, it allows participants to enjoy beautiful nature and diverse performances and experiences, discovering the significance of 'the roots that made me' and creating a meaningful festival that can be passed on to future generations.
