How to dispose of it
- Keep ceramics, crockery and mirrors separate from bottle-glass collection, even when they look similar to glass.
- Separate removable frames or other materials and protect sharp or broken edges.
- Check the local non-burnable-waste method for small items and whether a large mirror needs bulky-waste collection.
Before you put it out
- Bag, special-sack and reporting requirements vary locally. Check your district's instructions before buying a disposal bag.
- If the crockery or mirror is still usable, consider whether it can be reused before disposal.
