About the festival
When it comes to summer, the sea, and the Busan Sea Festival! The '30th Busan Sea Festival', celebrating its 30th anniversary, will be held from August 7 to 13, 2026, for a total of 7 days at Dadaepo Beach. The programs set against the backdrop of Dadaepo's open sea and sunset will be composed of a sensory and energetic atmosphere. This year, in particular, is planned as a 'community-based festival' that highlights the passionate enthusiasm of Busan's youth and close cooperation with the local economy, marking a significant year of the 30th anniversary. The grand opening ceremony on the night of August 7 (Friday) will feature the 'Dadae Fireworks Show', showcasing the overwhelming openness of Dadaepo Beach and elevating the festival's start to its peak over the 7 days.
