Yeongju Sobaeksan Azalea Festival is a mountain-type nature festival held at Sobaeksan, a representative natural resource of Yeongju. It is a festival where visitors can fully experience the ecological value and majestic mountain scenery of Sobaeksan during the peak of spring when the azaleas are in full bloom. The festival features trekking programs timed with the azalea blooming period, professional ecological explanations, and nature experience content, showcasing a visitor-participation mountain festival. The azalea clusters along the ridges and the open views provide an overwhelming natural landscape unique to Sobaeksan.
