About the festival
The Busan International Comedy Festival (BICF) is an international comedy festival that started in 2013 as the first of its kind in Asia, representing Korea's premier comedy festival where the best comedy artists from home and abroad come together. It creates a cultural space where everyone can laugh and enjoy together across generations and borders through diverse performances and special programs held throughout Busan. Beyond comedy performances, it promotes the value of K-comedy to the world, discovers new comedy content and talent, and envisions the future of a sustainable comedy industry.
