About the festival
The 2026 Yeongcheon Herbal Medicine Festival will celebrate its 24th edition from October 2 to 4, 2026, at Yeongcheongangbyeon Park. The festival will feature herbal health consultations and experiences, medicinal food, herbal crafts, family games, and relaxation spaces in Zone D near the Yeongcheon Cultural Center. It is an event introducing herbal culture through health consultations and experiences with herbal medicine practitioners, as well as K-MEDI wellness programs based on herbal medicine. There will also be tastings of herbal teas, making herbal sachets, skin, beauty, and healing experiences, and craft-making programs for families. The event will include a K-MEDI health experience zone, DHU herbal wellness zone, Yeongcheon Herbal Medicine Market zone, herbal medicinal food zone, and herbal picnic garden. A mission tour for visitors to explore the experience areas and a gift-giving event are also being prepared. This festival is designed to allow visitors of various ages to engage with Yeongcheon's herbal resources, offering a range of activities from health consultations to experiences and food, as well as relaxation.
