About the festival
The Andong Cherry Blossom Festival is a representative spring festival held in Andong City, Gyeongsangbuk-do, coinciding with the blooming of cherry blossoms. It is centered around the Nakdong River and major cherry blossom paths in the city, offering visitors an experience that combines natural scenery and cultural programs. During the festival, attractions such as a cherry blossom tunnel, night lighting, street performances, experience programs, flea markets, and local food sales zones are operated. The schedule of events is flexibly adjusted to match the peak bloom of the cherry blossoms, and nighttime content and relaxation spaces are arranged to extend visitor stay times.
