About the festival
The 2026 Jaktang Festa is a festival celebrating the 6th anniversary of the youth cultural space 'Youth Jaktangso'. It is a venue for young people with different lives and activities to gather, share their experiences and concerns, and discover new perspectives. Additionally, it is an event designed for citizens to naturally participate and communicate by directly experiencing the diverse activities and tastes of the youth. This gathering aims to create opportunities for new activities and collaborations to continue after the festival through connections between the youth community and creators. The festival will feature the Jaktang Market, a market for youth communities and creators, as well as performances by young musicians and interactive stages in the outdoor space on the first floor. On the second floor, the BNK Art Gallery will host experiential exhibitions by two young artists. The third floor will offer workshops with creators who are forging their own paths. Notably, the festival will be co-created by the youth community, musicians, and artists from Busan, based on the network of young people who have passed through the Youth Jaktangso. This festival, combining art and community, will showcase the experiences, senses, and stories of young people in diverse ways. The 2026 Jaktang Festa is designed not as a one-time event but as a platform for new projects and collaborative networks to continue after the festival, providing opportunities for more young people to connect.
