About the festival
The 'Children's Seonbi Festival' is an interactive cultural festival designed for children to naturally learn the value of education through play and experiences, based on traditional Seonbi culture. It is held in the Seonbi World, Seonbi Village, and the Korean Seonbi Culture Training Center, featuring an immersive educational program called 'Today's Top Scholar is Me!' where children can experience the traditional examination process and learn about the Seonbi spirit and traditional culture in a hands-on way. Notably, it combines experiential content with playful spaces to encourage high participation from family visitors, and enhances immersion through events like the historical procession of successful candidates and Joseon-themed programs. In 2026, there are plans to expand into a stay-type cultural tourism content through the advancement of content and strengthening of operational systems.
