About the festival
*The content of the festival is based on the previous year's (2025) festival, and the content for the 2026 festival is currently being updated.* The Gyeongsangbuk-do Gimcheon Gimbap Festival is a local cultural tourism festival held in Gimcheon City. Although gimbap is not the representative specialty of Gimcheon, the event is planned based on the symbolic image of the region known as 'Gimbap Cheonguk Gimcheon'. The festival is operated around experiences, exhibitions, performances, and play content centered on gimbap, allowing Gimcheon citizens and tourists to enjoy together. There will be experience programs where participants can make and taste gimbap, and performance and experience zones will be created for various generations to participate.
