About the festival
The '3rd Oncheoncheon Light Festival' will beautifully illuminate winter in Dongnae District, Busan, from December 19, 2025 (Friday) to February 1, 2026 (Sunday) for 45 days. This festival, themed 'Oncheoncheon Love Song', will showcase a variety of light sculptures along a 1.1 km section of Oncheoncheon. The light sculptures will be illuminated daily from 17:00 to 23:00, offering visitors a special night view. The festival is divided into six themed areas: 'Prelude of Light', 'Song of the Seasons', 'Fantasia', 'Oncheoncheon Love Song', 'Delicious Harmony', and 'Song of the Lanterns', providing unique attractions in line with traditional culture, seasonal themes, and the future. In addition to the light exhibition, various participatory programs for citizens will be available. The lighting ceremony to announce the festival's opening will take place on December 19 (Friday) at 17:00 in front of Suan Elementary School along Oncheoncheon, followed by 13 days of rich programs including artificial snow experiences, busking performances, and media wish writing at the Snowflake Square under Exit 4 of Dongnae Station until December 31 (Wednesday). Additionally, a food truck zone will be set up in the large tree resting area, allowing visitors to enjoy various foods and enhance the romance of the festival. Families, couples, and friends can create unforgettable winter night memories at Oncheoncheon.
