About the festival
This festival, linked to the rich Catholic cultural heritage and tourism of Chilgok-gun in Gyeongbuk, is based on the concept of spending a holiday in a holy place. It is held around the Waegwan Monastery, which embodies the history and spirit of Catholicism. During the day, there are light landscapes, and at night, the light cathedral and dreamy forest are created. Various performances can be enjoyed, including a talk concert with Father MZ (Lee Chang-min), a holy concert (Lin, Ahn Ye-eun), busking performances, Gregorian chant performances, and pipe organ recitals. The Waegwan Monastery, with an atmosphere reminiscent of medieval Europe, offers various photo zones (life photo studio, monk costume experience photo booth, etc.) and unique experience programs (special mass at Haneul Cathedral, monastery tour with a monk, retreat experience, etc.).
