About the festival
Illustar Fest is a subculture event related to comics, animation, and games that has been held since 2023. Approximately 1,000 individuals and teams participate in the venue, primarily selling illustration books, goods, and albums using first and second creation illustrations, while various game companies from platforms like mobile, Nintendo, and Steam also join to offer events and game experiences. Additionally, each event features a space for indie game companies, allowing attendees to directly experience genres and styles of games that are not easily accessible. A major highlight of the event is the cosplay, where individuals and teams dressed as various characters fill the venue, allowing attendees to take photos with their favorite character cosplayers, and enjoy performances by cosplay teams and bands or DJs playing music from anime and games on the internal stage.
