About the festival
The representative tree festival illuminating winter in Busan arrives with a brilliant winter light that embodies K-culture. From December 5, 2025, the highlight of the year will begin with a countdown and the lighting ceremony that awakens Gwangbok-ro with light, continuing until February 22, 2026, where you can experience the '2025 Gwangbok-ro Winter Light Tree Festival'. During the festival period, various street events are prepared, including busking performances by local musicians and a participatory lighting ceremony where citizens can turn on the tree lights themselves. On the weekend of December 20-21, various experiential programs such as Christmas cooking classes and mini tree making will also be held, so you can enjoy them all without missing out.
