About the festival
The festival "2026 Balcony Music Show and Street Festa" turns the streets into a stage where everyone becomes the main character. It is a comprehensive cultural festival planned to enhance the satisfaction of domestic and international tourists and revitalize the local economy through the operation of permanent content in the old downtown area of Busan. This event will take place from July to December 2026 in the car-free area of Gwangbok-ro in Busan. The event will feature a wide range of performances across various genres, including fusion traditional music, jazz, K-POP dance, tap dance, and popera, divided into main stage and A·B spots. In particular, the 'Balcony Music Show,' which creatively utilizes building balconies as unique stages, and the 'Sing-Along Parade,' which decorates the Gwangbok-ro area in a splendid manner, will transform ordinary streets into vibrant festival venues. In addition to performances, the core of the event is to provide abundant entertainment that can significantly increase visitors' stay time in connection with the local economy. A flea market featuring over 60 local Busan brands, along with various experience booths such as making dalgona and gypsum air fresheners, will be operated. Furthermore, there will be areas for experiencing traditional Korean games such as ttakji-chigi, gonggi, and tuho, which will capture the attention of foreign tourists. Additionally, specialized photo zones themed 'Balcony TO Busan' and 'Back in the Day, Gwangbok-ro,' along with a receipt camera booth, will be set up to create special memories for both citizens and tourists visiting the festival.
