About the festival

The 13th 21st Century Humanities Value Forum is a humanities and cultural event held for three days at the Andonggukje Convention Center and in Andong-si under the theme 'A Shaking World, Unchanging Things.' It will kick off with a keynote speech at the opening ceremony and an award ceremony for the Humanities Value Award, concluding with the proclamation of the Andongseoneon-Gate at the closing ceremony. The event features theme-based, public, and participatory sessions with domestic and international scholars and citizens, as well as exhibitions, experiential programs, tours, and networking events, allowing visitors to see, walk, and interact to experience humanities values directly. Over the past decade, this event has expanded Korea's traditional culture into universal values of today, and this year it will address contemporary issues such as war and peace, memory and records, AI and technology, with approximately 5,000 participants in both online and offline formats.
