About the festival
The 2026 Wengjing Chawan Festival is the 28th edition, representing one of the festivals that combines the depth of traditional Korean culture with a modern feel. The festival will be grandly held from May 1 to 10, 2026, at the open filming site of Wengjing New Village, which boasts heavenly beautiful scenery. Wengjing ceramics adhere to traditional wood-fired kilns, born at temperatures exceeding 1300°C, showcasing a rugged and natural aesthetic. The charm of the tea bowls can also purify the hearts of their users. In particular, this festival significantly enhances diverse participatory content aimed at the 'MZ generation' and 'family visitors', dreaming of evolving from a purely observational festival into an experiential festival enjoyed together.
