About the festival

*The food content at the festival site is based on the previous year's (2025) festival, and the content for the 2026 festival is currently being updated.* The Andong International Mask Dance Festival is a global festival that unites everyone through the memory of masks and the dance of all. You can experience and enjoy both Korean mask dance, which is registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, and mask dances from various countries around the world at the festival site. Furthermore, it will offer a variety of performances, parades, community gatherings, and a global mask dance competition where everyone can come together. The Andong International Mask Dance Festival 2026 aims to connect the time that masks have preserved with present life. In moments where children, the elderly, local residents, and visitors from around the world laugh, applaud, and share rhythms in the same space, the memories conveyed by the masks become a living culture. This festival will be a place where the hearts that have been connected come together to complete 'the dance of everyone' and showcase the power of community that shines even brighter when we are together.
